My journey in this domain started in working with Charity when I took up a voluntary role helping young adults from abusive background gain back confidence I've secured qualifications in Mental Health First Aid and Fire Warden duties. Furthermore, I have undergone training in Fire Awareness, Health and Safety, First Aid, DSE Assessment, Drug Awareness, and Coaching & Mentoring, in addition to courses on Safeguarding both Adults and Children.
At Advantage Shield Haven our objective is always to provide semi-independent living for young adults between the age of 16-18 who are currently out of care, or vulnerable young adults currently displaced due to asylum seeking. Our aim is to teach and equip these individuals into adults who are ready to blend into adulthood with equipped skills necessary to get them jobs and live independently.

· Provide leadership to them, so it helps foster self-reflection to enable them make good realistic decisions when faced with varying options.
· Preserve and support the Young adult’s links with their own community by working in partnership with the Young adults, their parents, other carers and those with parental responsibility.
· Providing all staff with ongoing training, support and guidance to enable them to support the Young adults to the best of their ability.
· Ensure non-discriminatory practices in accordance with our Equal Opportunities Policy.
